Join us on one of our holidays in the lovely area of St Andrews. With beautiful scenery and dementia friendly accommodation this is a wonderful place to visit. There is something for everyone to enjoy safe in the knowledge that support will be there for you and your loved one throughout the holiday.
Meet for lunch at the Scottish Deer centre, outside Cupar before
making our way to your holiday accommodation.
Spend the evening getting to know one another and maybe playing
some games, or going to the Open Mic night at the nearby Ceres Inn.
Before leaving St Andrews we will visit the Discovery in Dundee - Captain Scott's ship followed by lunch in Dundee after which we will travel home.
After Coffee, visit to Hill of Tarvit mansion House. Then on to Blacketyside farmshop for some lunch before heading off round the nearby East Neuk villages, stopping at the Scottish fisheries museum in Anstruther or the Secret Bunker. Stop for afternoon tea at Monturpie restaurant where there are amazing views to the bay.
Visit Fife Folk Museum in nearby Ceres, which has a varied collection, covering everyday rural life in Fife, and much more besides. The recently-restored buildings include the 1673 tolbooth, complete with jougs at the door and a prisoner in the dungeon. After lunch at the museum, a drive down the coast to Kirkcaldy for shopping or a visit to the harbour in Dysart or Glassmount house gardens.
Back to the house for Dinner and games.
Drive to St Andrews, the home of golf and one of the oldest Universities in the world. Here we can do some shopping or a visit to the castle or golf museum. Lunch in St Andrews. Back home for dinner and games or a movie.
